Join these celebrated poets for conversations on the art and craft of poetry and its intersection with today’s world. Each event consists of a half-hour talk with the poet, followed by a Q&A session with attendees. Instructors are encouraged to register, attend, and share the recording with their students.

Join celebrated poet Evie Shockley and Norton author Kelly Mays for a lively conversation about reading and writing poetry, with a special focus on golden shovel, a poetic form created in homage to Gwendolyn Brooks.
The event will consist of a half hour of conversation between Mays and Shockley and will conclude with an open Q&A where members of the audience can ask their own questions.
All students, faculty, and poetry lovers are welcome.
All registrants will receive a recording of the event so please register if you're interested, even if you cannot attend live.
