About the Author
Jonathan Wolff
is a prominent British philosopher, renowned for his work in ethics, political philosophy, and public policy. Wolff was educated at the University of Oxford, where he is now the Alfred Landecker Professor of Values and Public Policy at the Blavatnik School of Government and a Governing Body Fellow at Wolfson College. He is best known for his writing on social justice, equality, and disadvantage. Wolff's distinguished career is marked by his engaged application of philosophical insights to practical issues in public policy and bioethics, making him a respected figure in both academic and public life. For many years he wrote a regular column for The Guardian newspaper. He is a Fellow of the British Academy and President of The Royal Institute of Philosophy.
