Reader Platform

Dynamic features exclusive to the Norton Ebook Reader make it an ideal environment for instructors and students to engage with the anthology in a whole new way.

• Powerful annotation tools make it easy for students to highlight and take notes, thereby encouraging close reading. 
• Embedded video and audio in the period introductions spur students to engage with the historical and cultural context before digging into specific works.  
• The new Translation Labs are even more hands-on in the Norton Ebook Reader, with audio recordings and annotation tools that help motivate students to probe differences and similarities across versions of the same poetic text. 
• Audio glosses in the margins model the pronunciation of names of literary works, characters, writers, places, and other terms.
