Ashley Shew is an associate professor of science, technology, and society at Virginia Tec and specializes in disability studies and technology ethics. Her books include Against Technoableism, Animal Constructions and Technological Knowledge, and Spaces for the Future (coedited). She lives in Blacksburg, Virginia.
