Join anthropologist Ashanté M. Reese for a conversation about her new Norton Shorts title Gather: Black Food, Nourishment, and the Art of Togetherness. Professor Reese's book provides a new vision on food justice that centers the resilience of Black communities and recognizes the power of gathering to create sustainable systemic change. In the second half of the hour, audience members are invited and encouraged to ask questions in an open Q&A with Professor Reese.
